Gun, money, Toyota Wish, recovered from Ranbow guesthouse in Wakitaka, Jinj city. Two suspected armed robbers arrested.

The suspects have been identified as Isanga Godfrey, a resident of Bukatuube in Mayuge district and Kiiza Patrick a resident of Iganga along Kaliro road.

Witnesses says that, the suspects followed the Finance Manager of Victoria Nile Plastics Ltd company in Njeru along Kayunga road, Bhaven Prajapati and two others right from Bank of Baroda in Jinja City and up to Njeru and upon reaching one of the washing bays, along Kayunga road, they blocked them using their car Toyota Wish UBA 032N and robbed them of their money totaling to UGX 283M

This prompted Mr. Prajapati to report to Jinja CPS who started tracking the culprits using the Global positioning system (GPS) contained in the bag the robbers had disappeared with.

According to James Mubi, the Kiira Region Police Spokesperson the captives were found at Rainbow Guest House in Wakitaka buzzing, with the money in the car. The police managed to recover a gun belonging to UPDF, UG-UPDF-UH-3113, with 26 rounds.
